Quiz & Curry Night - a great success!

14 teams participated in the Group Fundraising Quiz and Curry Night last evening.

Answering questions, ranging from General Knowledge and Sport to TV and Films and Music, the teams competed for a few hours to be crowned champions.  The quiz was hottly contested, but it was a team of Leaders, called "The Wooden Spoons" who triumphed at the end of the night, winning by 4 points.

The evening was generously supported by the Turban Tandoori who once again came up trumps, laying on a spectacular buffer supper for everyone, with pakora, spicy onions and two curries to sample - nobody went hungry.  We are once again very appreciative of the Turban for sponsoring the event by donating the buffet. 

We also owe thanks to Poloc Cricket Club who made the venue available to us and made all the teams feel very welcome.
