AGM Night Awards and Presentations

Last night was the Group AGM and Open Evening Night and presentation of awards and Investiture ceremonies for Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Explorer Scouts.  The Beavers gave us a rendition of the "Shark" song, the Cubs also entertained us with another campfire song.  The Scouts solved a tricky puzzle with a tin of beans and the Explorer Scouts gave us an insight into their Explorer Belt Expedition to Canada.

Following the formal AGM part of the night where the accounts were approved and members of the Group Executive were elected the Investiture Ceremonies for Beavers, Cubs and Scouts took place as well badges being awarded to all sections including presentation of 8 Chief Scout Diamond awards (the second highest award in the movement) to the Explorer Scouts and 4 Duke of Edinburgh Silver Awards to Ross Morton, Ross Pearce, Terence Rae and Cameron Young.
